Lagat, Fleshman Win Lexus Santa Monica 5000
SANTA MONICA, Calif. - At the Lexus Santa Monica 5000 presented by Ed Hardy Sport on Sunday, in a thrilling finish overlooking the coast of the Pacific Ocean, Kenyan Haron Lagat successfully held off steeplechaser Aaron Aguayo by sixth tenths of a second, 14:07.2 to 14:07.8, to win the Saucony Elite West Invitational. Per road running rule, both times were converted to 14:08.

Pasadena Marathon is slowly finding the right path

Rescheduled to March, the event was held in a drenching rainstorm.
Malibu Marathon Set for Nov. 15
NBCLA.Com - The inaugural Malibu International Marathon & Half Marathon will be run Nov. 15, the city announced Wednesday.
The Malibu City Council voted unanimously on Sept. 14 to allow Forever Runners LLC to operate the marathon, according to a city statement released Wednesday morning.
Big Sur Half Marathon Sells Out at 6,000
Monterey County Herald - The seventh presentation of the Big Sur Half Marathon on Monterey Bay sold out Friday, nearly two months ahead of the Nov. 15 race day.
