It finally happened...the red ring of death :(

Ugh...so I came home from work today, pop in some Halo...and see this on my xbox 360:

I did a bit of research and found a ton of people complaining about the "Red Ring of Death" -- has this happened to anyone else?

My xbox 360 is out of warranty now and I don't know how to repair it. I did find this site:

What do you guys think? Worth a shot?
